How We Work
Our Approach to Every Arrangement
When a resident arrives at saau-yuen, the first thing we do is listen. We ask about routines, preferences, what has worked well in the past and what has not. We take note of things that might seem small — a dislike of being woken early, a preference for quieter mealtimes, a favourite afternoon activity. That listening shapes everything that follows. The arrangement is then set up around the resident, and revisited whenever circumstances change. Nothing is fixed in place against the resident's wishes.

Daily Living Support
Discreet help with everyday tasks such as tidying, laundry, errands and reminders, offered by a familiar host so each day stays easy and unhurried, with as much or as little support as a resident prefers.

Regular small-group outings to markets, parks, temples and the harbourfront, with comfortable transport and a host accompanying the group, so residents stay connected to the city they know.
